Heatherwood GC is a hidden gem in SW Ohio, nothing better than playing 18 and finish up the day with 18 at Shaker! Having returned from playing the Badlands in Las Vegas I wished more Ohio courses would follow the lead of Las Vegas. Private clubs include other courses for members and the public. Badlands in Las Vegas (27 holes designed by Johnny Miller / Chi Chi Rodriguez) partner with Silverstone (27 holes designed by Robert Cupp) and Primm Valley GC (36 holes designed by Tom Fazio)giving the golfer all the challenge you need within 40 minutes drive! Heatherwood, Shaker, Sycamore and Pipestone would make for a nice combination.....thinking outside the box!

Fun course with a lot of different types of holes that challenge your entire game. Greens are probably the easiest part of the course as they are fairly flat. Lots of water in play on the course.

Course was in excellent condition (especially after major rain storms the previous week.) Staff was courteous at the sign-in, food court, and starter. Menu has been upgraded and is some of the finest I've seen for a break after 9 holes or a more complete food serving after playing 18 holes.

Played in January of 2008. Food service not available until Spring. Course well maintained!
